Limescale deposits and rust are often found in supply and production pipes, technical areas, external surfaces, and heat exchangers, reducing flow, heat transfer, and the service life of systems. For remediation, individually tailored single- or multi-stage chemical cleaning processes are used, taking into account the material, surface specifications, processes, type of corrosion, and history of its development. If necessary, mechanical pretreatment stages are carried out to prepare the surfaces for chemical contact.

• Processes are usually carried out at ambient temperature
• Use of minimal volumes of chemicals; containers and systems do not need to be flooded
• Can be done in circulation, segment by segment, or using a wiping method
• Chemicals/rinse water can optionally be disposed of on site
